How to Install a Matte Black Steering Wheel Emblem Cover (3rd Gen Tacoma 2016–2023)

What you need

• A matte black steering wheel emblem cover (fits 2016–2023 Tacoma)
• An alcohol wipe or microfiber cloth
• That's it. No tools, no disassembly.

Step 1: Clean the factory emblem

Wipe the chrome emblem on your steering wheel with an alcohol wipe or a damp microfiber cloth. Let it dry fully. Adhesive bonds best to a clean, dry surface.

Step 2: Test-fit the cover

Hold the cover over the factory emblem and line it up. It should sit flush over the existing emblem with no gaps at the edges.

Step 3: Peel and stick

Peel the 3M adhesive backing, press the cover firmly over the emblem, and hold for 10–15 seconds. Done.
